In the eyes of the beholder...If I see him correctly, Harry is looking at me from the peaceable kingdom, the world as is below, and at the bottom the mandala with lotus blossom and butterfly. The religious symbolism is very real. "Mandala is Sanskrit for 'whole world' or 'healing circle'. Mandalas are found in both Eastern and Western religious traditions. In Christianity the circle is accepted as a symbol of eternity and the everlasting God". A butterfly is a symbol for the resurrection. The lotus, according to my dictionary, is sacred in ancient Egypt and Asian art and religion, and in Greek mythology, the fruit of the lotus induces a dreamy forgetfulness and reluctance to depart. It's a memorial that makes me weep, it's so right on.With respect and credit to: "Peaceable Kingdom" after Hicks."
